From their workshops hidden away in the rolling hills of North Dorset, Litton Furniture collaborate closely with architects, designers, and private clients to create bespoke, hand-crafted furniture pieces of exceptional quality. Having operated quietly as the industry’s ‘best kept secret’ for many years, they entrusted us with the task of developing a new brand identity that would authentically capture and express their unique culture and craftsmanship.
Alongside a distinctive new brand mark, our solution incorporates a carefully designed ‘makers mark’ featuring a Corvid. This native British bird is renowned for its remarkable problem-solving abilities, traits that resonate perfectly with the talented individuals who make up the Litton team.
These elements are paired with classic typography and thoughtfully selected materials to emphasise and celebrate the team's meticulous attention to detail and dedication to excellence.
The new identity is applied to stationery, literature, clothing and a new website. We also partnered with local photographer Jake Eastham to capture the team in their natural habitat, surrounded by more than sixty years worth of accumulated materials, tools, and prototype creations, providing a genuine insight into their creative process and heritage.
